Description
Bids to provide 'SCTI Automotive and Collision Equipment and Supplies' were received from fifteen vendors on August 18, 2013. The bids of Airgas, Auto Plus, Finishmaster, Florida Tire Supply, Railquip, Inc., Suncoast Auto Parts, The Ware Group dba Johnstone Supply, tooldiscounter.com, and Tropical Automotive Solutions were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of six months from date of award. Funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Sarasota County Technical Institute.
Recommendation
That the bids of Airgas, Auto Plus, Finishmaster, Florida Tire Supply, Railquip, Inc., Suncoast Auto Parts, The Ware Group dba Johnstone Supply, tooldiscounter.com, and Tropical Automotive Solutions to provide 'SCTI Automotive and Collison Equipment and Supplies' in the amount of $100,000.00 be approved as presented.
